Smart City Expo World Congress / Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress
4 - 6 November 2025
Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) is the world’s biggest and most influential event for cities and urban innovation. Every year, SCEWC brings together leaders from global companies, governments and organisations to move cities towards a better future. The goal is to collect urban innovation across the globe and empower cities to tackle the critical challenges facing them today.
Taking place at the same time is the Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress (TMWC), a global event focused on promoting sustainable and intelligent urban mobility. It brings together international experts, companies and public institutions to shape the future of transport and make mobility more efficient, inclusive and environmentally friendly. The aim is to accelerate the transition toward cleaner, safer and more connected mobility systems for cities around the world.

Gender-sensitive data for urban planning
Description: European cities strive to become more inclusive and equitable on one hand and smart and data-driven on the other. However, gaps in data collection and analysis can overlook the diverse needs of citizens groups. In this session, we will explore how collecting and integrating gender-disaggregated and accessibility data is crucial to better understand how diverse citizen groups use public spaces and transport systems. By doing so, we can better assess existing urban environments and develop more inclusive and equitable solutions.
