Welcoming our Cascade Cities!

The REALLOCATE team is proud to announce that the cities of Braga (Portugal), Brașov (Romania), Lviv (Ukraine), Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and the Ljubljana Urban Region (Slovenia) have committed to testing the replicability of REALLOCATE’s mobility measures! Ensuring REALLOCATE’s measures can be replicated, is crucial to the success of the project. After all, the aim is not only to develop solutions for the communities in REALLOCATE’s pilot areas, but to scale-up successes and enable other cities, Europe-wide, to benefit from this project.
Within their role as ‘Cascade Cities’, Braga, Brașov, Lviv, Sarajevo and the Ljubljana Urban Region will support REALLOCATE in testing the replication package - a key output which will present key activities and useful tools - by creating their own unique implementation plans to replicate one of REALLOCATE’s mobility measures each. By testing the replication package, the Cascade Cities will gain access to innovative solutions and guidance from technical experts and REALLOCATE’s cities. At the same time, working with Cascade Cities will teach project partners about the common challenges and what cities need, to create an optimised replication package which can support cities in their paths towards climate-neutrality.
