Nudgd behavioural change platform nominated for MOBILITY ACTION Award

REALLOCATE partner, Nudgd, has been nominated for the MOBILITYACTION award for its innovative behavioural change platform! The platform, which was developed in Helsingborg, Sweden, and will be used within some of the REALLOCATE city pilots, leverages behavioural science to encourage sustainable school travel habits. Students, parents, and teachers are invited to join the online platform where they are gently “nudged” with messages, challenges, and quizzes to raise interest in - and show the benefits of - active travel. The award nomination recognised how the platform supported the City of Helsingborg’s goals to enhance cycling, and promote safer, more sustainable travel by the parents/guardians of primary school students.
The MOBILITYACTION award was launched by the European Commission to acknowledge excellence in mobility management planning solutions submitted by businesses, civil society organisations, institutions, or local administrations throughout 2023.The award places a spotlight on awareness-raising and mobility management in recognition of activities carried out in 2023.
Fellow REALLOCATE partner, the City of Budapest, has also been nominated for the related EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK award focussing on the efforts of cities. The winners of both awards will be announced at an award ceremony held in Brussels on 14 March 2024.
