related projects

REALLOCATE collaborates with related sustainable mobility projects and, more specifically, with its sibling projects from the European Commission's Urban Public Space Design thematic project cluster, shown below:

ELABORATOR designs sustainable urban mobility towards climate-neutral cities. It uses a holistic approach for planning, designing, implementing and deploying specific innovations and interventions towards safe, inclusive and sustainable urban mobility.

The project's aim towards climate neutral cities will be met through key interventions, such as smart enforcement tools, space redesign and dynamic allocation, shared services, and integration of active and green modes of transportation. They will be specifically co-designed and co-created with identified vulnerable to exclusion user groups, local authorities and other relevant stakeholders.

AMIGOS embraces a multifaceted approach with 7 key pillars to tackle urban mobility challenges and promote sustainability: Sustainable Mobility, Digital Twins, Big Data platform, Mobility Solutions, Mobility Harmony, Space Optimisation and Safety Enhancement.

Based on these pillars, AMIGOS relies on the collection and analysis of urban mobility data from pilot cities, an art-based co-creation with urban stakeholders to better define city mobility solutions using an urban mobility toolbox, city model, and digital twins as a testbed for these solutions, before their implementation and evaluation for replication.

JUST STREETS focuses on (re)developing streets shaped by active mobility that are both: sustainable and inclusive for all citizens. Realising this shift from streets for the exclusive use by cars towards street space for more active modes of mobility will be led by prioritising the needs and visions of social groups often under-represented in urban planning. This includes particularly women, migrants, the elderly, children, LGBTQI+ individuals, and people with disabilities.

The project supports 8 pilot cities and 4 follower cities in transforming cities’ car-centered mobility narratives that take for granted that streets are for motorised traffic only.
