Cities Mission Conference 2025

The Cities Mission Conference 2025 will take place from 6–8 May 2025 in Vilnius, Lithuania, celebrating the role of cities in delivering climate action by 2030.
Organised by the European Commission and the Mission Platform, the 2025 edition — focused on
"Harnessing City Successes: Advancing Climate Action for 2030" will bring together city leaders, practitioners, EU institutions, national and regional authorities, NetZeroCities partners, the private sector, academia, and civil society organisations.
The conference marks a major milestone for the Cities Mission, showcasing the progress and achievements of Mission Cities in their transformation towards climate neutrality, including action on sustainable urban mobility, resilience, and public space reallocation.
Over three days, participants will:
- Exchange experiences and best practices across key sectors, including sustainable mobility
- Deepen collaboration on innovative approaches to city-led climate action
- Celebrate cities’ collective achievements and renew momentum towards 2030 goals
