Ecological Planter Box

The goal is to develop a physical prototype of the Educology Planter Box within urban study areas, with the aim of enhancing biodiversity and practicing Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) in material selection.

The ‘Educology Planter Box (EPB)’ recommendation's catalogue includes the information of the selection of plant species, planter box, type of soil, etc.. All of this information combined helps to demonstrate research instruments and activity considering the sustainable factors and life cycle assessment (LCA) in the decision-making process.

Postcard Survey

To engage communities in identifying potential locations for greenery intervention within the study areas of the cities.

Through the PostCard survey, a set of five cards aims to facilitate dialogue between residents and the municipality about where nature-based solutions (NbS) should be introduced on streets. This activity captures where residents and the community would prefer to see improved or increased greenery in their areas. Participants are asked to take a photo of the postcard and upload it to the dedicated platform (digital component), which enables geotagging.
